About the Fund
The Fund provides assistance to members of our community seeking higher education who otherwise would not have the financial means to fulfill their educational goals.
Hope believed education, hard work and a diverse world experience could be a catalyst, an agent of change for individuals, families and communities. She understood how education could lift people up and provide ever widening opportunities for self-development and service.
During this second year of the Fund a special effort will be made to award scholarships to students of Hope’s alma mater - Halandale High School.
Scholarship Deadlines
Deadline for Applicant submission is 5PM on May 31, 2024.
Scholarship Guidelines
The Hope Casias Memorial Scholarship Fund will grant up to five (5) $1000 scholarships to area graduating high school seniors from San Antonio, Texas.
Eligibility:
1. Current Harlandale High School Student classified as a Senior who is participating in School Athletics.
2. Students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
3. Must be accepted or will be accepted to an accredited college for the 2022-2023 academic year.
4. Applicant cannot be a relative of Hope Casias
